Gift of Education Scholarship Program

Gems of Hope is pleased to announce it’s “Gifts of Education” Scholarship program will continue in 2016.

“Gifts of Education” is supported by grants, donations and fundraising efforts conducted by Gems of Hope, Inc. and the Gems of Hope Youth Advisory Board. In 2016, Gems will offer up to eight, $750.00 scholarships, to area high school seniors. The criteria for the scholarship includes:
The student has been personally affected by cancer, meaning:
•           The student has previously been diagnosed with cancer or
•           The student has had an immediate family member with cancer (sibling,mother or father)
and also,
•           Demonstrates financial need
The Gems of Hope Scholarship Committee, appointed by the Board of Directors of Gems of Hope, will select the recipients.  The award recipients will be notified by phone on April 29, 2016, with the results posted on the website by April 30, 2016.  No phone inquiries will be accepted.
