Volley for Gems of Hope!
Gems of Hope is hosting it’s 2nd Annual Sand Volleyball tournament hosted by the Gems of Hope Youth Advisory Board. The board board is comprised of high school juniors and seniors from area schools. The tournament is located at Volleys, 265 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402on June 12, 2015 – 6:00pm-10:00pm.
The cost is $5 per person ($30-$40 per team). Proceeds from the tournament will go to support Gems scholarships offered to graduating high school seniors.

In 2014 the YAB (Youth Advisory Board) started a sand volleyball tournament for Gems which helped to fund scholarships for graduating seniors who have been personally affected by their own cancer diagnosis or that of an immediate family member.
The Youth Advisory Board focuses on developing our youth related programs and events, along with cultivating a higher level of engagement in Gems from the adolescence community through volunteering.
